Editorial portrait commission in the build-up to Bolton’s court fight

As Bolton Wanderers were set to argue for their survival in a mid-March 2019 court date, BWFC fan site, the Lion of Vienna Suite, asked me to do a portrait of Super John McGinlay as William Wallace to showcase the club’s warrior spirit.
